First step to being active

Image
"A journey of a thousand miles begin with a simple step" People are resistance to change. That's just a simple fact. Even Newton's laws of physics approve that. An object remains at rest will state at rest unless there's an external force apply to it. Same thing with us human beings. We won't be able to change unless some kind of "force" apply to us. If you've been leading an inactive lifestyle, getting back into a more active lifestyle will be difficult. First is the willingness to change. Second is taking actionable steps. My recommendation is to start small. One simple thing you can do to be more active is by simply taking a 30 minutes walk every morning after you wake up. Just that and do that for 30 days until it becomes a habit. That's it. First thing in the morning, after your fresh glass of water, don't jump in front of a computer, start walking. This will start off your day on the right track.

Productive day

It's funny how I feel that laundry day is the most productive day. I guess it because the entire process involves more physical movements than anything else. Looking at the bigger picture, as human beings advances in technology, we've become less and less physically active. In general, a working person nowadays spends more time being stationary than active. The more we work our brain, the less we use our body. However, our body is designed by nature to move around. An inactive body will become atrophy and useless in the end. Therefore, it is a good idea to balance our mental activity with our physical activity. By harmonizing our mental activity with our physical activity, we'll be able to achieve higher productivity. As always, a well balance lifestyle is optimal for prolong health and wellness.
